Cottage Hospital confirms that their Chief Executive Officer, James Flynn, has announced his resignation and will be leaving in mid-May.
That’s according to a brief statement from Chair of the Cottage Board of Trustees, Mark Blackburn.
Blackburn, in his statement, wishes Flynn well and thanks him for his contributions to Cottage.
Flynn will become a CEO in Mishawaka, Indiana, near South Bend, although exactly where is not clear.
There are several hospitals and medical centers in Mishawaka, which is located within 80 miles of Chicago, South Bend, Fort Wayne and Kalamazoo.
Flynn joined Cottage as CEO in January, 2017.
