GHS Play: The Play That Goes Wrong High School Edition
Sunday, November 19, 2023, @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Galesburg High School Theater presents The Play That Goes Wrong High School Edition.
Written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer & Henry Shields, this show that follows the opening night of the Cornley Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor, where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. This 1920s whodunit has everything you never wanted in a show—an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines).
Nevertheless, the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences! Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this Olivier Award–winning comedy is a global phenomenon that’s guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter!
Shows are 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17 & 18, and 2 p.m. Nov.19 at Galesburg Jr. Sr. High School in the newly remodeled Hegg Performing Arts Center.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors, and free to all CUSD #205 students and staff.
