National Night Out In Galesburg

The Galesburg Police Department will host the 2024 National Night Out from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 6 in Standish Park, 42 W. Tompkins Street in Galesburg.
National Night Out is a community-building campaign that police departments nationwide host on the first Tuesday in August each year. It is designed to promote police-community partnerships by bringing law enforcement and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
The National Night Out event will include a K9 demonstration as well as other local groups and organizations with exhibits and activities. The event is free and open to all.
